What are the contract durations and termination terms?
Each option offers a flexible, long-term contract to maximize the benefits of green energy for your buildings.
These terms ensure a stable, long-term partnership while providing flexibility for early termination and asset acquisition if desired.
- Contracts are generally set for a 20-year duration, unless otherwise specified
- The minimum contract term is 5 years, after which you may choose to terminate the agreement on an annual basis.
- Similarly, PLUS contracts are typically set for 20 years. After this period, the photovoltaic (PV) system will be transferred to you
- If you wish to end the contract before the 20 years, you can do so annually by purchasing the PV assets based on their residual, proportionally depreciated value.
What are the leasing and rental terms for enshift’s and how do they benefit me or my tenants?
Each Enshift Product comes with specific terms to suit your green energy needs while providing value through secure agreements.
These agreements allow you to benefit from sustainable energy solutions tailored to your needs, while Enshift manages the installation, operational details, and risks.
- Under a leasing contract, you grant Enshift the usage rights to operate green energy systems for the contract’s duration
- This agreement, structured as a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or Zusammenschluss zum Eigenverbrauch (ZEV), enables you or your tenants to benefit from a stable supply of locally generated green energy, which can help reduce energy costs and environmental impact
- With PLUS, Enshift secures usage rights under a rental contract for specific building areas like the roof or basement, where green energy infrastructure will be installed
- This contract also allows Enshift to register these rights in the building registry

How can you exit the contracting model?
